34 Political Parties to Participate in Indonesia Election 2009
Tempo Interactive reported that The General Elections Commission (KPU) has announced that 18 new political parties have passed the stage of verification of facts to participate in the 2009 election.
Therefore, there will be a total of 34 political parties participating in the election.
For the first time six local political parties in Aceh over the verification of facts.
KPU head Abdul Haviz Anshary made the announcement about these political parties last night.
About 50 supporters of the Ulema National Awakening Party (PKNU) were happy to learn that his party had approved verification.
